Bid & tender writing services
Everything we do has one aim: a higher-scoring submission with less disruption to your business. Start with the service that matches where you are — or send us the tender and we’ll tell you what it actually needs.
Bid Writing
Our core service. A bid writer plans, writes and polishes your whole submission with your team — built answer by answer against the scoring criteria.
Bid writing services →Tender Writing
Full responses to invitations to tender: quality questions, method statements, case studies and the compliance wrap-around.
Tender writing support →PQQ & SQ Writing
The gateway stage. We complete pre-qualification and selection questionnaires so you reach the tender shortlist.
PQQ & SQ writing help →Framework Applications
Applications to framework agreements and dynamic purchasing systems, from CCS to NHS and construction frameworks.
Framework bid support →Bid Management
For bigger bids: one person to own the plan, chase contributors, manage the portal and make sure nothing is missed.
Managed bid services →Bid Review & Critique
Already written something? We mark your draft as an evaluator would — question by question, with scores, gaps and rewrites.
Bid review service →Bid Library
Model answers, case studies and policies built once and reused on every bid — cutting the cost and turnaround of each submission.
Bid library creation →Bid Training
Half- and full-day workshops that leave your team able to qualify, plan and write bids that score — using your own live tenders.
Bid writing training →APMP Support
Study coaching for the APMP Foundation and Practitioner certifications, taught by working bid writers.
APMP support →Social Value
Social value strategies and method statements that win the 10%+ on offer — additional, local, measurable and deliverable.
Social value writing →Pre-Bid Consultancy
Capture and positioning before the tender drops — win themes, readiness audits and the honest bid/no-bid call.
Pre-bid consultancy →Interim Bid Support
An experienced bid writer or manager embedded in your team to cover gaps, peaks and must-win seasons.
Interim bid support →Not sure which you need?
A rough guide from the conversations we have every week:
- “A tender just landed and we can’t resource it” — that’s bid writing, or managed bid support for a complex multi-contributor submission.
- “We keep failing the first stage” — start with PQQ and SQ writing; the fixes are usually structural and quick.
- “We write our own bids but the scores are flat” — a critique of your last submission finds the leak, and training stops it for good.
- “Our social value answers are weak” — our social value writing wins back the 10%+ that decides close competitions.
- “We know a big tender’s coming” — pre-bid consultancy positions you before it drops; interim support covers a resourcing gap.
- “We want to get on a framework” — see framework applications and our framework guides.
How we price
Every job is quoted before we start. One-off tenders are a fixed fee based on the number and size of questions; regular bidders move to a day rate or retainer. The first conversation — and a review of your most recent bid — is always free. Upload a tender for a no-obligation quote within one working day.
Frequently asked questions
Can you handle the whole tender, end to end?
Yes. Combined bid writing and bid management covers everything from the kick-off plan to portal submission — you provide subject expertise and sign-off, we do the rest.
Do you only work on public sector bids?
Mostly, but not only. The same disciplines win private sector and housing association work too, and we cover both.
How far in advance should we engage you?
Ideally the day the tender is published — or before, through pre-bid consultancy. That said, we routinely join bids mid-way; a two-week runway is comfortable for most single-lot tenders.
