We want everyone to be able to use the BidWriters.co.uk website, whatever their abilities or the technology they use. This statement explains what we do to keep the site accessible and how to tell us if something isn’t working for you.
What we do
We aim to meet the internationally recognised Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at AA level. In building this site we have:
- Used clear, plain English — the same principle we bring to bid writing
- Structured pages with proper headings so screen readers can navigate them
- Maintained strong colour contrast for readability
- Made the site keyboard-navigable, with a skip-to-content link
- Written descriptive link text and labelled form fields
- Built a responsive layout that works across devices and zoom levels
Ongoing work
Accessibility is never finished. We review the site as it grows and welcome feedback that helps us improve. If you use assistive technology and encounter a barrier, telling us about it genuinely helps.
