Bid readiness check

Six quick questions on the tender you're about to submit. Get an instant score and a plain list of what to fix first – calculated in your browser, nothing sent anywhere.

1. Have you mapped every scored question against the evaluation criteria before drafting?

2. Do you have evidence (case studies, data, named references) ready for every claim you'll make?

3. Is your social value response additional, local and measurable – or a generic policy statement?

4. Is your pricing fully compliant with the schedule format, and sense-checked against the written response?

5. Will someone who didn't write it review the bid against the criteria before submission?

6. How much time is left before submission?

    Why this matters

Evaluators score against a matrix, not an impression – so the areas above are exactly where marks are won or dropped: unmapped answers miss criteria, generic evidence scores low on quality, boilerplate social value fails the "additional, local, measurable" test buyers now apply, and pricing errors can disqualify an otherwise strong bid outright. A quick honest answer to each is a genuine early warning system, not a guarantee of any particular score in the real evaluation.

If your result flagged risk areas, our bid review service gives you a full evaluator's-eye assessment of the actual document, or upload the tender for a free review and fixed-fee quote to have it written or fixed for you.

    Frequently asked questions

Is the bid readiness check actually free?

Yes. The score is calculated in your browser from your own answers – nothing is uploaded and no card details are asked for. If you want a human review of the actual document afterwards, that's our separate free bid review.

How is the score worked out?

Six weighted questions covering the areas evaluators mark hardest: compliance, evidence, win themes, pricing, social value and time left to write. It's a quick diagnostic, not a guarantee – a low score flags real risk, a high score still benefits from a second pair of eyes.

What happens after I get my score?

You'll see which areas dragged your score down and what to do about each one. If you'd rather have a bid writer look at the actual document, upload it for a free bid review and fixed-fee quote.

Want a second pair of eyes on the real document?
