Bid writing by sector
Evaluation logic is universal; evidence is not. A care tender wants CQC ratings and safeguarding mechanisms, a construction framework wants RAMS and social value, an IT bid wants security accreditations and exit plans. We write within your sector’s vocabulary — and know what its buyers reward.

Why sector knowledge moves marks
Generic bid writing produces generic answers, and evaluators — who are usually practitioners in the buying organisation — see through them immediately. Sector fluency shows up in the details: knowing that an FM mobilisation answer lives or dies on TUPE handling, that security bids are filtered on ACS status before quality is read, that education buyers weight safeguarding above price. Those details come from writing in each market continuously, not from a template.
The deeper layer is buyer knowledge. Each sector has its own purchasing vehicles — from NHS framework routes to education buying consortia — and its own portals, cycles and incumbents. Part of every engagement is mapping where your next realistic win actually sits.
Don’t see your industry?
The twelve above are where we work most, not a boundary. The method — answer planning, evidence, plain English, reviewed like a marker — transfers to any formally procured market. Tell us what you’re bidding for and we’ll be straight about whether we’re the right writers for it; “no” is a sentence we use.
Frequently asked questions
Do you assign writers by sector?
Yes, where it matters. Writers develop deep grooves in two or three sectors, and we match engagements accordingly — your construction bid isn’t written by someone who last saw a RAMS document in training.
Can one bid cover several sectors?
Often — total FM contracts blend cleaning, security and maintenance; care contracts blend health and housing. Multi-disciplinary bids are normal for us; the answer plan simply draws on more than one evidence base.
How do you learn our specific business?
Structured interviews with your delivery people, your past bids and feedback letters, and your delivery data. Sector knowledge means we ask the right questions — your answers make the bid yours.
