Cookie policy
This policy was last reviewed in June 2026.
This policy explains how BidWriters.co.uk uses cookies and similar technologies on this website. It should be read alongside our privacy policy.
This site keeps cookie use to a minimum – we use no advertising or tracking cookies.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site function, remember preferences and, where used, measure how the site is used.
The cookies we use
| Type | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Enable core functions like page navigation and form submission. The site can’t work properly without these. |
| Functional (if enabled) | Remember choices you make to improve your experience. |
Analytics – no cookies used
We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics service hosted on EU servers, to understand how our site is used. Umami is cookieless – it does not store any cookie on your device and does not track you across other websites. It records aggregate, anonymised information such as pages viewed and general location derived from IP address. See our privacy policy for more detail.
Managing cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some types may affect how the site works. Where we use non-essential cookies in future, we’ll seek your consent before setting them.
Changes
We may update this policy as our use of cookies changes; the review date above shows when it was last updated.
